This treatment is primarily used in cases of overactive bladder and patients with symptoms of urge incontinence, as well as patients with painful bladder syndrome
The procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia. The doctor inserts a cystoscope (a thin, flexible instrument with a camera) into the urethra to obtain an image of the bladder interior.
