Procedure process

Intravesical infusion is an outpatient procedure that can be performed in a doctor's office. Before the procedure, the patient should empty their bladder. Then, the doctor inserts a urinary catheter through the urethra into the bladder. The medication to be administered is given through the catheter into the bladder. After the medication is given, the catheter is removed. The patient must retain the medication in the bladder for a specified period, usually from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the medication used and the disease
